Get back to what you love most.
At Hand and Rock-climbing Therapeutic Network, we combine clinical expertise with a passion for climbing to help you regain strength, mobility, and confidence in your movement. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or working to prevent one, our personalized approach is designed to get you back to the activities and experiences you love.
Emily Hartnett, OTD, CHT
Emily earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University, focusing on rock-climbers’ injuries. As an experienced climber herself, she specializes in upper extremity rehabilitation and has developed innovative return-to-climb protocols, including the patent-pending Pulley Ring Orthotic (PRO), to help athletes stay on the wall while recovering.
When she’s not treating patients, you’ll find Emily climbing, skiing, knitting, hanging out with friends, or spending time with Jersey, her dog (and best friend). Her #1 advice for every patient: “Please stretch — and then stretch some more.”
